Musician
After a decade of being a professional musician/singer and songwriter in various bands performing own material and covers throughout the UK, Europe and United Arab Emirates, Geoff went solo as a Guitarist/Vocalist working the UK circuit including pubs / clubs / restaurants / casinos / holiday centres.
Drawing from a wide range of material to cater for various audiences using backing tracks, including many recorded himself at his home studio, also recording and producing CDs featuring covers and his own material produced on a 16 track digital recording desk and Cubase. He continues this work s at his Pro Tools based studio. |

Teacher
Starting with a part time Community Music course culminating in a number of workshops held at St Hugh’s Special School and a local Learning Disability Day Care Centre in Scunthorpe, Geoff took on more and more private pupils for one on one guitar.
In the role of Music Facilitator, he ran composition, song writing, arranging and recording workshops for Connexions, Hull City Arts, Hull Youth Service and RAPP. Guitar tuition one day a week at High Ridge Sports College in Scunthorpe . Working with groups of 5 young people aged 11 – 16 years for ½ hour sessions.
Geoff also runs recording technology workshops, and composition and arrangement sessions.
Since completing the Community Music Practitioners Course he has diversified as a working musician in many areas of music and also as a student, as he has now completed a BA (Hon) degree in Popular Music at the University Centre in Barnsley where he achieved a 1st. |

Producer/Engineer
Geoff Lloyd Wilson BA (Hons) achieved a First Class degree in Popular Music in Summer 2008. From the beginning his module choices reflected his passion to advance his skills with studio technology. Coupled with a huge breadth of knowlege of musical form and history, this experience makes him an excellent mentor during production.
Adapting his knowlege of Cubase he has converted his studio over to the industry standard Pro Tools (the DAW favoured at the University), also investing heavily in the conversion and expansion of his premises. |
